How to Manage Options in the Signature Dropdown List

This topic provides instructions on renaming an option in the Signature dropdown list. It also includes instructions for removing an option from this list so that it is no longer available for users to select when setting up a Donor Report.

Renaming an Option in the Signature Dropdown List

To change the name of an option in the Signature dropdown list, do the following:

  1. Display the Donor Reports page. 
  2. In the upper right, click this button: . From the displayed menu, select this option:   Contents.
  3. In the Report Contents window, complete the following:
    1. On the Statements tab, select the option you want to rename from the Signature dropdown list.
    2. Click . Then, in the Name field, type a new name for the option.
    3. Click  to save the change.

The system updates the name of the option in the Signature dropdown list in the Donor Report setup.

Removing an Option from the Signature Dropdown List

To remove a option you no longer want to show in the in the Signature dropdown list , complete the following:

  1. Display the Donor Reports page. 
  2. In the upper right, click this button: . From the displayed menu, select this option:   Contents.
  3. In the Report Contents window, complete the following:
    1. On the Statements tab, select the option you want to rename from the Signature dropdown list.
    2. Click . Then, click  to confirm the deletion.
    3. Click  to save the change.

The system removes the option from both the Signature dropdown list in the Donor Report setup. Users can no longer select the option when creating donor reports.

Note that the file containing the signature image remains on your computer so you can add it back later, if desired.
