How to Manage Options in the Letterhead Dropdown List

This topic provides instructions on renaming an option in the Letterhead dropdown list. It also includes instructions for removing an option from this list so that it is no longer available for users to select when setting up a Donor Report. 

Renaming an Option in the Letterhead Dropdown List

If you want to change the name of an option in the Letterhead dropdown list, do the following:

  1. Display the Donor Reports page. 
  2. In the upper right, click this button: . From the displayed menu, select this option:   Contents.
  3. In the Report Contents window, complete the following:
    1. On the Statements tab, select the option you want to rename from the Letterhead dropdown list.
    2. Click . Then, in the Name field, type a new name for the option.
    3. Click  to save the change.

The system updates the name of the option in Letterhead dropdown list.

Removing an Option from the Letterhead Dropdown List

To remove an option you no longer want to show in the Letterhead dropdown list, complete the following:

  1. Display the Donor Reports page. 
  2. In the upper right, click this button: . From the displayed menu, select this option:   Contents.
  3. In the Report Contents window, complete the following:
    1. On the Statements tab, select the option you want to remove from the Letterhead dropdown list.
    2. Click . Then, click  to confirm the deletion.
    3. Click  to save the change.

The system removes the option from the Letterhead dropdown list. Users can no longer select the option when creating donor reports.

Note that the file containing the letterhead remains on your computer so you can add it back later, if desired.
