This topic shows you how to find people in your system.
Instructions for using two search methods are provided below. Note that when searching for people, you can use both methods together to get better results. For example, you can use the first method below to find Maria Sanchez and then use the second method to apply filters to find the Maria Sanchez who has an assignment at St. Marks or the Maria Sanchez who is a catechist.
Using Specific Search Criteria to Find a Person

For example, to search for a person by their first name and maiden names, select the First Name and Maiden Name options in the Search menu:
Using our example, type the individual's first name and maiden name into the search field:
Alternatively, just a few letters for the target you selected:
The system looks for the individual matching the criteria entered into the search field and updates the grid with results of the search.
If the Filters panel is not visible, click the filter button in the toolbar to open it: .
For example:
To find all active catechists, select the Active filter in the Assignment Status group and the Catechist filter in the Position group. The system shows which filters are selected in the area above the Individuals grid, as shown below:
To find all employees with overdue medical physicals, select the Employees filter in the Position Category group, the Medical Physical filter in the Requirement group, and the Overdue filter in the Requirement Status group.
To clear the previous search:
The system removes the filters, refreshes the grid, and returns the list to the original (unfiltered) state.
